Our multi-day production with Mount Lassen Trout & Steelhead took us from the Bay Area into the mountain streams of Northern California to document the full journey of their fish. From the breeding process in their hatchery, to natural feeding grounds, and through their clean packing plant, we captured the operation end-to-end.

We conducted in-depth interviews with the multigenerational family owners—grandfather, mother, and grandchildren—alongside the employees whose day-to-day work drives the quality of Mount Lassen’s trout and steelhead. The project combined extensive video and photography, pairing process coverage with the natural beauty surrounding their facilities. The result is a comprehensive visual narrative centered on sustainability and excellence.
