On The Moon is an Oakland-based production company creating commercial, branded, documentary, product, and technical work for agencies, brands, and internal creative teams.

Founded and led by Producer and Director of Photography Alex Lopez, the company is built around a simple idea: keep the core team experienced and hands-on, then build the right crew around the needs of each production.

Some projects call for a small team, a camera package, and a fast turnaround. Others require a full commercial crew, multiple departments, complex locations, specialized technical workflows, and a longer post-production process. We’re comfortable working at both scales.

Alex remains directly involved in the projects On The Moon takes on, leading production and working across creative, cinematography, technical planning, and post when the project calls for it.

We handle development, pre-production, production, editorial, color, and finishing, allowing the visual and technical approach to stay connected from the first conversation through final delivery.
