Bad-N-Fluenz

We partnered on a documentary about Bad-N-Fluenz, a Bay Area hip-hop group from the 1990s that worked with artists like Too Short, E-40, and Snoop Dogg. Though they never achieved large-scale success, their influence was felt across the local scene, and their story carries both triumph and tragedy—most notably the passing of group member Rappin’ Ron before they could create more music. Today, Ant Diddley Dog, another member of the group, serves as a pastor in the Bay Area. Directed by Marcus Thompson II, an award-winning journalist and best-selling author known for his books on Steph Curry and Kevin Durant, the film includes extensive interviews with musicians such as Mistah F.A.B. and other prominent Bay Area figures. Our work on this project focused on capturing these voices and stories in a cinematic, respectful way, helping bring to light a chapter of Bay Area music history that shaped the culture but was nearly forgotten.
