Bad-N-Fluenz
We partnered on a documentary about Bad-N-Fluenz, a Bay Area hip-hop group from the 1990s that worked with artists like Too Short, E-40, and Snoop Dogg. While they never reached large-scale mainstream success, their influence ran deep locally—and their story carries both triumph and tragedy, including the passing of group member Rappin’ Ron before they could create more music. Today, fellow member Ant Diddley Dog serves as a pastor in the Bay Area.
Directed by Marcus Thompson II—award-winning journalist and best-selling author known for his books on Steph Curry and Kevin Durant—the film features extensive interviews with musicians such as Mistah F.A.B. and other prominent Bay Area voices. Our work focused on capturing these stories with a cinematic, respectful approach, helping bring forward a chapter of Bay Area music history that shaped the culture but was nearly forgotten.
