Our multi-day production with Mount Lassen Trout & Steelhead took us from the Bay Area deep into the mountain streams of Northern California, where we documented the entire journey of their fish. From the careful breeding process in their hatchery to the natural feeding grounds and finally the clean packing plant, we captured every detail of this family-owned operation.

Throughout the production, we conducted in-depth interviews with the multigenerational family owners—the grandfather, mother, and grandchildren—alongside their passionate employees, whose dedication drives the quality of Mount Lassen’s trout and steelhead. This project involved extensive filming and photography, showcasing not only the meticulous processes behind their fish but also the stunning natural beauty that surrounds their facilities. The result is a comprehensive visual narrative that highlights the commitment to sustainability and excellence at the heart of Mount Lassen.
